We Need You!

Fight Boredom by Helping Research

Why not use your science activity today to contribute to research.

Who can sign up?

Any primary or secondary students between the ages of 10 and 18

I have ADHD, and I’m autistic, can I still take part?

Absolutely!

I don’t have any conditions, can I still take part?

Absolutely!

I turn 10 next Tuesday, can I take part?

Yes, but please wait until next Tuesday.

I am 18, but have already graduated high school, can I take part?

No, I’m sorry. But thank you for your interest and please pass this on to anyone you know who is still in secondary school.

What will I do?

You will complete a series of activities (finding patterns) and tasks (building puzzles) and answer some questions (‘How old are you?’) on your computer at home.

Who is conducting the research?

My name is Kym Craig. I am a PhD student at Heriot-Watt in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am also a teacher. You can find me here.

What is the research for?

I am trying to understand what skills I need to teach my students in order for them to have better success in school. Iā€™m particularly interested in which skills will help my autistic students with things like understanding fiction and social interactions.

If you are interested, please visit the site below to sign up and get more detailed information.

NOTE: you must be a parent to sign up, but parent and child should review the information together.
